About Us

We are a small, Independent digital publication documenting Singapore through food.

SG Food Chronicles is built on the belief that everyday meals deserve careful attention. We
write slowly, with respect for the people and cultures behind the food, and with the
understanding that some stories matter simply because they are part of daily life

Our Story

What started as a way to keep personal notes about where and how we were eating slowly
became something more deliberate. Returning to the same stalls, noticing what stayed and
what shifted, and realizing how rarely these everyday changes were written down.

Who This Is For

SG Food Chronicles is for people who care about food beyond recommendations. It is for those who grew up eating here
and recognize familiar tastes. For those who learned about Singapore through meals shared with others. For readers who
are curious about how food reflects place, time, and community, and who believe everyday meals are worth paying
attention to.

This is for anyone who understands that food is not just something we consume, but something we carry with us.
